Topic
IP conditions in the context of Innosuisse funded research contracts are of utmost importance both to industrial partners and to academic institutions and often raise questions.
Professionals like you are involved in mentoring companies, in setting up IP contracts, in applying the different applicable regulations, such as O-LERI/ V-FIFG, internal academic regulations and best practices.
Innosuisse Mentors often face questions from the companies they advise, with respect to IP.
During the last months, Innosuisse and SwiTT identified an opportunity to get to a better mutual understanding between Innosuisse Mentors and TT Officers / TT Contract Managers about the principles supporting the establishment of IP contracts.

Proposal
The SwiTT board and the Innosuisse department responsible for the Mentoring instrument would like to propose you the possibilities of voluntary reunions in different regions. Innosuisse will organize gatherings in three different locations for swiTT members and Innosuisse Mentors to meet personally and exchange positions, needs and best practices.

Goal
enable an exchange of knowledge, clearance of questions; and build up an open and sustainable culture between swiTT members and Innosuisse Mentors based on a personal contact.

Important: With respect to the COVID-19 situation, we will make sure that we respect the rules and recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the cantons we visit. We will precautionary measures to ensure distances of at least 1.5 meters in between the attendees at all time.

Agenda

1. Welcome note by Innosuisse and by SwiTT board representatives.
2. Round of introduction.
3. Exchange of the attendees based on essentials points of discussion, in particular principles in IP regulations, publication and confidentiality (moderated by Innosuisse).
4. Open discussions in the plenum.
5. Free exchange, with catering.
